Yesterday in Lagos,there was panic as an explosion at the Oworonsoki area of Lagos left 4 people seriously hurt and lots more in panic at a Restaurant. The panic was as a result of fears that it was a bomb but NEMA, who investigated the explosion has cleared the air on what caused the explosion.They say it was caused by a leaking Fridge in a Restaurant in the residential area.
What happened was that gas leaked out from the compressor of the defective fridge and reacted with carbonated drinks which was led to the explosion.Any possibility of the explosion being caused by an IED has been ruled out.
