Indeed miracles still happen! The man above is the man who miraculously survived when a sofa fell 130ft from a hotel and landed on his head in October. Alex Wright, 23, is believed to have suffered a fractured skull and a witness said his face looked like it had been "ripped off" in the freak accident.
The two-seater sofa had plummeted from a ninth-floor penthouse and went right on Alex’s head!
Parents Martin, 56, and Christina, 53, have been keeping a bedside vigil at a hospital where Alex is being treated and has been put into a coma for the pain.
His uncle Vincent Wright, 56, told The Sun: "Its been a very difficult time for the family", while is friend added: "It is horrific but he's getting better. It was a freak accident. He's got a fractured skull."
The sofa fell from scaffolding at W Hotel in the Swiss Centre in the West End, London, where an Extreme Wow Suite can set guests back more than £2,800 a night.
