Senator AKPABIO Allegedly Bribes Election Petition Tribunal With N650million!

Following a weighty petition to President Muhammadu Buhari by the an International Affiliate Transparency In Justice Initiative (TIJI). Security operatives have put the Hon Justice Adedayo Oyebanji led Elections petition Tribunal (panel1) sitting at the Customary Court Kubwa under heavy scrutiny and surveillance while a high powered investigation is ongoing to trace the sum of N650M naira (six hundred and fifty million naira allegedly paid to the tribunal panel by Senate minority leader and former governor of Akwa Ibom State Senator Godswill Akpabio.
It is widely believed in security circles that the Senator met with the Chairman of the embattled tribunal Panel head at the home of a Famous banker in Lagos. The first tranche of N500M(five hundred million naira) is believed to have been stuffed into Three brand new Prado Jeeps which disappeared in to the night upon leaving the home of the banker who brokered the deal amidst tight security.

Akpabio whose latest tact at holding unto power in Akwa Ibom is to strike out as many petitions as possible in other to maintain majority in the state house of assembly and continue to enjoy voting power at the National Assembly where he is currently carrying ten members of the House of Representatives and two other senators in his briefcase to the National Assembly.

Those familiar with proceedings at the tribunal confirm the head is obviously doing the job Akpabio has paid the panel to do as the controversial panel has so far struck out several petitions before it under very suspicious circumstances.

Those close to the corridors of powers at the Aso Rock Villa have hinted that president Muhammadu Buhari has vowed to use this case to set an example in the judiciary system once ongoing investigations are through.
