Photos: Protest As Naval Officers Kill Three In Arepo.

There was tension in Arepo, in the Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State on Wednesday after some naval officers allegedly killed three residents. The victims, identified as Biodun Mohammed, Chicago and Body, were said to have been rounded up on Sunday at a beer parlour in the area. The men were said to have been taken away and shot dead.

Press statement from the Special Assistant to the Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose, on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, on Wednesday declared that no pupil was abducted by Boko Haram from Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State. Over 200 pupils of the school were reportedly abducted in 2014 by the terror group. The governor said the report was politically motivated to influence public opinion against the Goodluck Jonathan administration ahead of the 2015 general elections.

IPOB Issues 72-Hour Ultimatum To President Buhari.


This Day reports that the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB) on Tuesday, March 29, issued a 72-hour ultimatum to President Muhammadu Buhari to intervene and free 76 people from Ugwuneshi in Awgu local government area of Enugu state, who defended their property and women against the Fulani herdsmen. The group also demanded the immediate release of two women who were allegedly abducted by the herdsmen on their way to their farms. The ultimatum was contained in a statement made by Emma Nmezu and Clifford Iroanya, the spokespersons of IPOB.

Man's Skeleton Found In Room After ' Missing ' For Seven Months

The skeleton of a 46-year-old man identified as Sikiru Yusuf was found in his room seven months after he was declared missing. Yusuf, a resident of 21, Jaiyesinmi Street, Aga, Ikorodu,was discovered by his elder brother, Alhaji Basiru Yusuf, who at the instance of the deceased’s landlady, came to pack his property.

A 41-year-old woman, Antinlola Adeyemi, declared missing for about four days by family members, has been found dead in a deep well on Monday in Lagos. The Director of Lagos State Fire Service, Mr Fadipe Rasaq, confirmed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

IPOB Alleges Plot By DSS And FG To Kill Nnamdi Kanu On His Next Court Hearing.
