Kumuyi Predicts End To Recession.


The General Superintendent, Deeper Life Bible Ministry, Dr. William F. Kumuyi, yesterday said Nigeria would soon outlive the current economic woes.
Kumuyi spoke in Abuja at a media briefing on the forthcoming Deeper Life Abuja crusade tagged: “A Day of Supernatural Wonders.”

Federal Government Declares Oct. 3 Public Holiday

Well, people like me have all the public holiday's on record year by year, I always wait  patiently for the government to just declare it...lol..
The Federal Government has declared Monday, October 3 a Public Holiday to mark Nigeria’s 56th Independence Anniversary.

This was made known in a statement signed by the Acting Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Alhaji Muhammadu Maccido. Happy independence and holiday in advance.

Punch Mtero reports that an Indian man named Jay Keswani, has been arrested by the Lagos state police command for allegedly assaulting his wife’s domestic help, Faith Nwaneri, on the Banana Island, Ikoyi area of the state. Keswani was apprehended on Tuesday by the Adeniji Adele division after about six weeks he allegedly evaded arrest.

Man Killed After Winning Lottery In Lagos

A 35-year-old man, Ejike Onyejekwe, has been killed in the FESTAC Town area of Lagos State.The victim, who lived on 21 Road, K Close, FESTAC, was stabbed to death after winning a lot of money from a lottery.

Men suspected to be Fulani herdsmen/hoodlums recently attacked some Catholic Priests. The Chaplain of St. Camillus de Lelis Chaplaincy College of Health Science, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, was among the priests attacked. He was shot in the head but luckily for him he survived.

OPC Abducts Pastor During Service


A pastor with the Christ Apostolic Church, Onigbogbo, Atan Ota, Ogun State, Pastor Olusegun Omoniyi, is critically ill after he was allegedly abducted and tortured by some members of the Oodua People’s Congress. It was learnt that 45-year-old Omoniyi had also gone into hiding after he was rescued by policemen from the Sango Area Command. He said he feared for his life as the OPC members had threatened to recapture and kill him.

Court Freezes Imo State Government’s Accounts.

The Court of Appeal sitting in Owerri, has ordered the freezing of all the accounts of Imo State Government and the confiscation of all monies domiciled in them, Vanguard reports.

The appellate court equally ordered that the confiscated monies should be used to offset the sum of N1 billion owed E. F. Network Nigeria Limited and Mr. Gideon Egbuchulam.

A crash victim thought a Good Samaritan "gentleman" had come to her aide after an accident - but he had instead come for her car. Arali McGrath was comforted and hugged by the crook, who had rushed to her assistance after she ploughed off the road and hit a cafe door in Birmingham.
