A woman in Guangzhou, China, was devastated to find her son was born with an eye condition which means he has little or no eye tissue.The condition Anophthalmia is said to affect one in every 100,000 children, and it means that the boy will never be able to see.The child’s mother, named Liu Peihua, gave birth on September 20 and is now talking with specialists at a larger hospital in Guangzhou to get a thorough examination of the baby.
Liu attended every antenatal check and was not informed with any unusual results.
