'I Was Born Without A Womb, Cervix And Vagina' - Woman writes

27 year old Joanna Giannouli, says she has rare condition that affects around one in 5,000 women. She says she has no womb, cervix and upper vagina. Speaking to Harry Low of BBC, Joanna said;

When we first saw the doctor, my father put on a brave face. My mother, on the other hand, didn't take it so well. She blamed herself for the past 10 years. It was really heartbreaking to see her like that. We didn't talk about it much for the first five years. I wasn't able to talk about it. I felt destroyed and incredibly weak.

Senator Committee Summons CCT Judge To Frustrate Saraki’s Trial.


Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions has summoned Danladi Umar, the Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), who is presiding over Bukola Saraki’s corruption trial. A letter sent to the CCT Chairman indicated that he was being summoned to answer questions of corruption leveled against him by an anti-corruption group, Anti Corruption Netwrk led by Senator Dino Melaye. The summon came after the senate yesterday protested the trial proceedings of Saraki when the senate was in session.

Tension has pervaded Uzo-Uwani local government area of Enugu state, following the abduction of an Enugu state auditor over the weekend by Fulani herdsmen along Nsukka-Adani express road. The abductors have demanded N5 million as ransom for his release.

Lagos Gunmen Attack Commercial Bus,Kill Targeted Passenger(Photo)


Commuters on a bus on the Ikorodu Road, Lagos State, were shell-shocked after some gunmen in a Camry blocked their path and killed a passenger. It was gathered that the four men, wielding guns, cutlasses and daggers quickly made their way into the vehicle immediately they waylaid it.
A 40-year-old passenger, identified as Olusola Bamidele, was said to have been dragged down from the bus and butchered.

Ecuador Earthquake Kills 238 And injures 1,500.


At least 238 people have been confirmed dead, with hundreds more injured after a 7.8-magnitude quake rocked the central coast of Ecuador, Sky News reports. A state of emergency had been declared in six provinces and the government said the death toll was expected to rise.
Ricardo Peñaherrera of Quito’s emergency management office said no fewer than 1,500 people were injured.

The Chief Judge of Lagos State, Justice Olufunmilayo Atilade today granted amnesty to 153 inmates of the Kirikiri Maximum and Medium prison. 24 of the inmates were released from the Maximum prison while 129 of them were from the Medium prison.
