Mike Adenuga Gives Super Eagles $250,000 To Defeat France!

The Minister for Sports and Chairman, National Sports Commission (NSC) Dr. Tammy Danagogo over the weekend revealed that billionaire businessman Otunba Mike Adenuga gave him $250,000 to give to the Super Eagles in Brazil to encourage them to beat France today, promising to do more if they win and advance to the quarter-final stage.

According to Danagogo, who has since presented the money to the team, Mike Adenuga, while presenting the money to him said;
"This is a token and if the team goes ahead and shock the world, I will join Mr President to shock the team."

CRAZY! Female Artist Debuts Perfume Made From Her Sweat,Tears And Hair!

Martynka Wawrzyniak,an artist and former model has used her sweat,hair and tears to create her own perfume called  Eau de M..The scent made it's debut in May issue of Harper's Bazaar and some of the words used to describe it were," unique,wet,sweet,sensual like a hot humid summer day and intensely addictive "

Her sweat was produced by making her sleep in the same T-shirt for five nights,then putting her shirt in a sterile mason jar..To get bottles of tears, she watched films and cartoons that reminded her of her childhood in communist Poland.
According to her website, she worked on the scents with chemistry students for over a year..The students - overseen by Professor Donna McGregor - used a complex process of treating 100per cent cotton clothes that she had worn, then washing the clothes with ethanol and leaving it to evaporate.

Some women who tried it said it smelt like sweat in summer while others said it smelt like a girl's T-Shirt when deodorant doesn't totally mask the sweat smell..

Senate Probes Remi Tinubu Over Disparaging Comments!

THE Senate, on Thursday, ordered its Ethics Committee to probe the Senator representing Lagos Central, Senator Oluremin Tinubu, for allegedly making disparaging comments about the Senate of the Federal Republic. The  decision was sequel to a motion moved by Senate  Leader, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba (SAN), who referred to two newspaper publications to substantiate the allegation.

Senator Ndoma-Egba said  there was the need for the Senate to investigate Tinubu, who is the  Vice Chairman of the Committee on Employment, Labour and Productivity,  over disparaging comments against the red chamber and its leadership.

The Senate Leader moved a motion citing  Order 43 (Privileges) of the Senate Standing Orders (2011, as amended) and  informed the chamber that some newspaper interviews  granted by Senator Tinubu reportedly bemoaned "the rot" in the Senate.

He said that in another  interview, Senator Tinubu had said the leadership of the Senate panders to the Peoples Democratic Party-led (PDP) executive arm of government.

The Senate Leader said:  "I would have brought this matter on the first day of our resumption, but for respect for the memory of our departed colleague, Senator Dahiru Awaisu Kuta.

"Today, therefore, is my earliest opportunity to raise it and that is why I raise this matter of privilege. There's a story carried in Thisday of June 5, 2014, attributed to a distinguished colleague of ours, Senator Oluremi Tinubu and the headline is this: 'Activities in the Senate are depressing' and I will read, with your kind permission, a portion of the story.

"Senator Oluremi Tinubu representing Lagos Central Senatorial District took a swipe at the leadership of the Senate, accusing it of poor performance. Tinubu, at a media parley to mark her third anniversary in the Senate, said activities in the the upper legislative chamber were depressing because its leadership had failed to address a lot of pressing national issues for partisan reasons. She accused the Senate leadership of pandering to the wishes of the executive arm of government which is led by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)." I will just stop here.

"There's another story in the Daily Trust of Monday, June 9, 2014, again attributed to Senator Oluremi Tinubu: "Why I may not return to the Senate in 2015" and with your kind permission, I may just read a little of it. "Wife of the former Lagos State governor, Oluremi Tinubu said she may not return to the Senate next year if the rot in the upper chamber persists…Mrs. Tinubu said she's depressed with the various activities that go on in the Senate…"

"Mr. President, Distinguished Colleagues, as I said before,  I'm a Senator first and foremost and by the grace of my colleagues, a member of the leadership of the Senate and to the best of my knowledge, Senator Tinubu has never raised any concern with me or with the leadership on the activities of the Senate. I think it is most unkind, it is most uncharitable for a distinguished Senator who has the opportunity of raising concerns with her colleagues, not doing so and going straight to the media to play to the gallery. So, I object very, very seriously to the comments made by Senator Tinubu and I want to submit that my privilege, as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has been breached by the said Senator."

Deputy Senate President Senator Ike Ekweremadu who presided over the  sitting immediately referred the matter  Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions headed  by Senator Ayo Akinyelure.
he said: "This matter is referred to the committee so that they can have Senator Tinubu present her own side of the story and if possible, invite the newspapers which published the stories,"  adding that the Committee has two weeks to submit its report to the Senate for consideration.

9-Years Old Girl Stabs Her 5yr Old Friend To Death While Fighting In Bayelsa!

The residents of Igbogene village in Bayelsa were left in shock after a young girl murdered another this week. Wuse Abuja Blast Update: 30 Dead, Scores Injured! (Photos)

A bomb blast has occurred at popular shopping mall, Emab Plaza on Aminu Kano Crescent in Wuse 2 in Abuja. Eyewitnesses said that the explosion occurred at about 4pm with several body parts. Officials at the Maitama General Hospital have confirmed at least 30 bodies with three completely dismembered, several others injured and many cars burnt in the bomb blast.
The fire service officials were reported to have put out the fire at about 4:40 pm. The explosion apparently occurred at the gate of the busy plaza.

DPO Tells Father Whose 11-Year Old Daughter Was Raped In Ogun That "She Enjoyed It"!

An aggrieved father whose daughter was defiled five years ago by her school's proprietor,alleged that a DPO said his daughter (the victim) would have enjoyed being raped. On June,19 ,2014,Mr. Danwanu Moses father reported that his daughter now 16,was raped by the proprietor when she was 11 but his claims were laughed off..Now he wrote a petition to the Ogun State Commissioner for Education, dated Friday, June 20, 2014.Part of the petition obtained by Punch reads..

"The police will not act to protect girls. Their failure to protect the girl-child, especially in the villages is a disgrace to Nigeria in the eyes of the world. I took my daughter to the local police and appealed to them to arrest and prosecute this man but they dismissed me and said there was no evidence and the DPO in front of my daughter said she would have enjoyed it anyway. This is the most disgusting behavior of the police in response to a very serious crime with long lasting psychological damage on the victim. My daughter and the other girls who have been abused by the proprietor deserve justice; they deserve to go to school without fear of harm, without having to be faced by the man who raped and defiled them. He says  the school proprietor took advantage of his closeness to him (the father) to commit the act and that the daughter could not tell anybody because she had been threatened not to tell anyone.

Wickedness! Police Man Allegedly Pushes Teenager Off From A Moving Motorcycle!

The young man pictured above named Sharafa, who works in a car wash was allegedly pushed from a motorcycle in front of AP station Gberigbe along Ikorodu General Hospital on June 22nd by a police officer attached at the Igbogbo Divisional HQ along Igbogbo Road Barracks. The guy is currently receiving treatment at another friend's house.

The DPO at the Igbogbo police station was contacted about the incident but nothing has been done about it yet though a police source said the guy plied on restricted road.
