John Mikel Obi scored his second champions league goal in a feisty encounter with French champions, Paris Saint Germain this evening. The Nigerian midfielder wasn't having the best of nights as he conceded a foul in a dangerous area before deflecting the resulting free kick into his own goal. He went from villain to hero as he swept home an equalizer on the stroke of halftime from a Diego Costa layoff. Chelsea went on to lose the game 2-1 but thanks to Mikel Obi, they have a vital away goal, a one-nil victory in the reverse fixture will see then through to the next round.
