The church is appaled and in grief on the sad incident of the gruesome murder of our sister, daughter and minister, Mojisola Elisha Olawale, in the early hours of Saturday the 9th of July 2016 while making early morning call to salvation.
We are indeed in a mournful in RCCG, as sweet as heaven is, death of our youths is not what we wish for. To this effect our pastor, Pastor Elisha Olawale and their seven Children were paid a condolences visit on Sunday 10th, July by Our mother- in Israel, Pastor Mrs. Folu Adeboye and Pastor Emmanuel Ibitayo of Region10, Abuja and after the Divine encounter which held at the national stadium in Abuja with over 47000 plus persons in attendance ending at around 8pm on 11th of July 2016.
The General Overseer Pastor E.A. Adeboye as early as 5am on 12th of July paid a condolences visit to the full time pastor and his family
The GO prayed that there would be no more death in that region, for progress in the family and salvation of souls for the perpetrators.
RCCG shall not cease to pray that God will end bloodshed in Nigeria and all over the world. The church sympathizes with the widower, and prays The Lord will restore joy to the Olawale family and intervene speedily to make the innocent safe (Amen)
