A student of the department of Leisure and Tourism of the Adamawa State Polytechnic, Yola, has been accused of slitting the throat of his girlfriend, Ishaya – a diploma 2 student of the same department – in a fit of jealousy. The Facebook user who shared the shocking story, Mustapha Atiku Ribadu, said the culprit identified simply as “presido,” is an extra year student of the polytechnic. Read what he wrote below:
“On the faithful day “presido” saw his girlfriend Ishaya alighting from somebody’s car, where he suspected that the car owner snatched his girlfriend. On seeing the girlfriend coming out of someone’s car, he ambushed her very close to the female hostel of the polytechnic popularly known as “gollans”, after beating her, he used a knife on her throat in an attempt to butcher her. Some students who heard her wailing came to her rescue, though she survived it but she is in a critical condition.”
