22 firefighters had to rescue a man after he got stuck inside a large stone vagina.Apparently 22 firemen were needed to free the American exchange student from the statue at Tubingen University in Germany.
Imgur user Eric Guzman uploaded pictures of the incident over the weekend and the images soon made their way to the front page of Reddit.
Guzman said in the picture captions: “He just wanted to take a funny picture. … The fire department was not really amused, and he was really embarrassed.”
He told BuzzFeed that his friend had climbed into the vagina after being told by German students that it was fairly common for people to pose for pictures in the statue.
“He was just unfortunate and tripped on his way out,” Guzman said.
However, it wasn’t all bad news for the hapless student: Guzman added his friend was “now happy that he is 1st on Reddit!”
The statue, titled “Pi-Chacan,” was erected at the university in 2001.
