How To Cope With The Present Economic Crisis – J. T. Kalejaiye

Pastor J. T. Kalejaiye is a Regional Evangelist of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, who is popularly known for canvassing support for good government and transparency in government. This man of God believes there is nothing any man of God can do without the approval of God. On several occasions, God has used him to liberate countless number of people from the snare of evil and deep depression of life.

Pastor Kalejaiye is known for inspiring messages. He is a teacher of the word and, indeed, a worshiper whose attitude of gratitude to God takes him a high attitude.Last week, this respected man of God stormed Harvesters International Christian Centre Church at Gbagada where he lifted those who were downcast and gave hope to the hopeless in the congregation. The pastor started with an illustration of how perseverance and courage spurred a man to pass a test set by his father among for all his siblings.

WHAT TO LEARN AND MOVE FORWARD DURING HARD TIME
Pastor Kalejaiye, said you didn’t know what you are capable of doing, until you are pushed. “Many of us need to be pushed before we can discover ourselves, so we shouldn’t allow the current challenges to weigh us down not just as people but as a country at large. He said: “It takes going through the bad moment to bring out the best in you.” Sometimes you need to go through the bad time/worst time to discover your purpose. So, it is a time to discover one’s calling.
There are raw materials, some may lose their job before they can get to their promise land. “This is one of the critical moments of this country and it will turn out good for those who are determined and strong.” Another key inspiring statement he made is, for a change to happen; it takes going through hell to make it happen. And Nigerians must support what the government is doing. According to him, what happens in Nigeria is a global thing and we must abide by it.

HOW TO BREAKTHROUGH ALL
Fear not: Fear not because God is in control. “In two months time, our story will change in this country, but Nigerians need to take action before God can take control. The Pastor said there must be a problem before a miracle. “There must be a passing through before a breakthrough.” Job passed through a lot in the Bible, but God saved him at last. He said “Fear not because all your pains will: soon turn to gain.”
Another key point he mentioned is diligent. “You must be diligent if you truly want a positive change. Pastor said he disengaged from work 25 years ago. He said, he had once sold fufu to survive, while growing up.

Sow now to reap later is another key point to adopt which would make you to have a total breakthrough either financially or spiritually. He gave an example of how Isaac sow in plenty in the Bible and how he harvested bountifully. Pastor Kalejaiye said “You don’t need to go to Germany before you can make it, you don’t need to go to UK before you can be okay and you don’t need to go to China before you can eat Chinese food.
He also pointed out that Nigerians should develop the habit of paying Tithe accurately and adequately. He said people should not steal what belongs to God, adding that there was a time when he had to increase his Tithe to 15 percent and he got his bigger breakthrough by doing so. He said: “Load your cloud so that your rain can fall.

People should always wait on the Lord, he said “if your appointed time has not come, there is nothing any man can do to open it. You just have to wait on the Lord. The man of God concluded his sermon by saying, “yesterday was your experience and today is your experiment and tomorrow is your expectation. Use your experience to push your experiment and you will get a good expectation.
