Super Eagles head coach, Sunday Oliseh has been flown to Belgium for treatment after his health condition worsened on Thursday. According to a tweet by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), the former Nigeria captain, became dizzy and weak after lunch today, and so had to be flown abroad tonight through the Port Harcourt Airport.
The NFF said:
“Coach Sunday Oliseh has returned to Belgium to continue treatment after being advised by Eagles medics. He became dizzy and weak after lunch on Thursday and he travels abroad tonight through the Port Harcourt Airport.”
Recall that reports had it that Oliseh had been down with flu before the first leg African Nations Championship qualifying clash with Burkina Faso in Port Harcourt last week.
Sources from the Super Eagles camp disclosed that palpable fear gripped the camp today, over Oliseh’s health condition, even as team and external doctors managed to stabilize his condition before he was taken to Port Harcourt Airport en route Belgium.
