A 40-year-old man was arrested and detained by the Ghana police for allegedly killing his 30-year-old wife after dragging her on the ground. According to eyewitnesses, the suspect Kwame Owusu had pushed his wife, Josephine Amankwah from his KIA truck which was in motion and left the woman hanging from one of the front doors, she was said to have died on reaching the hospital.
Amankwah popularly called Yaa Baby had reportedly confronted her husband to demand for GH¢1,000 she once borrowed from her mother to take care of him when he was sick.
The couple who have an 18-month-old child were having marital issues before the incident occurred.

The deceased was said to have picked a quarrel with the husband after she spotted him with another woman in his vehicle in the town.
Owusu allegedly decided to move away but the deceased held one of the front doors in an attempt to take her money back.
Esther Amankwaah, a sister to the deceased who confirmed the incident to DAILY GUIDE, said Ahinkan ignored her sister and drove away while she was hanging on the door for about 400 metres and later pushed her to the ground, killing her instantly.
She said the deceased, whose remains had since been deposited at the Goaso Government Hospital, suffered severe head injury and bruises on her legs.
