A fierce battle is going on between police and angry crowds protesting against the demolition of homes in Ghana's oldest slum in the capital, Accra. Police are firing shots and tear gas to disperse the protesters but they seem to be overpowered.Protesters are throwing stones and have damaged several police vehicles. People have been running away and the area looks like a war zone.
