A young father was jailed for nine years today after a jury convicted him of killing his 11-week-old baby son by shaking him so violently doctors found 18 bones fractures on his tiny body. Jordan Saxton was unanimously convicted of manslaughter but cleared of a more serious charge of murder. The jury heard that the 22-year-old man had been left alone with baby Jayden for just 90 minutes when he gripped his son’s chest and shook him causing a ‘catastrophic’ brain injury. Damage to blood vessels in the baby’s eyes also left it blinded in the attack. Jayden’s mother, Tracy Ray, said she had ‘no concerns’ over the way her baby’s father handled or looked after Jayden before his death
