New British Prime Minister, Theresa May, says her new government would fight “burning injustice” and “build a better Britain.’’ This is part of her first public remarks since taking office in London on Wednesday.
“If you’re from an ordinary working class family, life is much less secure than many people in Westminster realise. The government I lead will be driven not by the interests of the privileged few, but by you’’, she said.
May said that following the Brexit referendum, Britain would face a time of great national change.
“As we leave the European Union, we will forge a bold new, positive role for ourselves. Together we will build a better Britain’’, she said.
