Photos: Soldiers On Rampage On Ikorodu Road, Set BRT Buses Ablaze, Beat Innocent People After A BRT Bus Killed An Army Officer On Bike!

There is a serious chaos going on at palmgrove, Ikorodu road following the killing of an Army officer by a reckless BRT driver the early hours of today. According to sources, Soldiers have come out in group stopping motorists, beating passersby and setting BRT buses ablaze seeking vengeance for their dead colleague. An eye-witness said The BRT driver who hit the soldier ran into Palmgrove estate in order to avoid the wrath of other soldiers who shortly after the accident arrived on the scene. Upon noticing that the driver ran away, the Army men ran into Palmgrove estate and when they couldn't find the driver, seized one of the Estate's security men. the soldiers beat the man mercilessly and took him away. He was released hours later badly beaten and traumatized.
The extent these soldiers have gone this morning over the death of their colleague is too extreme. Here is hoping the Lagos state government intervenes fast and calm is restored.
